Amdipharm is an emerging global pharmaceutical enterprise comprising a series of companies operating internationally and in the UK.
Amdipharm was formed in 2002 with the aim of making essential prescription medicines available to meet real clinical need but which may no longer be a priority for research based pharmaceutical companies. Amdipharm specialises in marketing internationally branded products to primary and secondary care prescribers.
Since 2002 and through twelve significant acquisitions, Amdipharm can now offer 35 products which sell in over 100 countries across the world and anticipates annualised turnover in 2007 to exceed £100m. Amdipharm has ambitious acquisition plans pending with a view to achieving a doubling of turnover and further establishing itself as a recognised and respected global pharmaceutical enterprise.
The most important goal of any Amdipharm acquisition is to ensure a seamless supply of medicine from the manufacturer to the patient. Post acquisition the only difference a patient may notice is in the change of packaging design to the Amdipharm branded livery.
