The Role

  • Due to continued success, we are expanding our team and looking for a Commercial Operations Coordinator. This role is vital to supporting the wider commercial team in variety of key responsibilities that will help the business grow.
  • You will be responsible for supporting with the day-to-day operations within the company’s supply chain and logistics function.  Working closely with other internal stakeholders, external suppliers and customers you will ensure a positive relationship is maintained, customer needs are met and that product is always available.

Job Responsibilities

  • Building relationships and communicating with suppliers and customers to solve any issues.
  • Coordinating and scheduling shipments, ensuring all relevant documents are completed.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders where needed in line with business needs and forecasting.
  • Tracking and reporting on supply chain metrics whilst ensuring all records are up to date with supply chain activities.
  • Managing all returns and exchanges.
  • Tracking the entire product life cycle – including providing regular updates to management.
  • Assist with the review and update supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Working closely with the Key Accounts to identify any new opportunities to support with business growth whilst keeping all accounts up to date with the correct information.
  • KPI’s – ensuring they are maintained throughout accountabilities.
  • Ensure data integrity is established in accordance with ACOLA+ guidelines.

Your Experience & Skills

  • You will use your strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills whilst multitasking in a busy environment.  Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, you will also need experience with inventory management and logistics software. 
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles will compliment your strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The right person must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience within the Pharmaceutical / Wholesale market and products whilst having a strong commercial focus.

Hours and working arrangements:

  • This is a permanent role, and whilst full time (37.5hrs per week) could be considered for part time working (minimum 4 days/30 hours a week).  The role is predominately on-site, but some hours can be achieved remotely.
