MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The IT Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT roadmap that aligns with the organisation’s growth, goals and objectives. This is a hands-on position and the ideal candidate will work closely with the Waymade Management teams and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Group IT strategy implementation, project management and management of our overseas offices. Some travel may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and deliver the technology road map
Responsible for all aspects of technology – infrastructure, applications, business systems, data, development etc…
Develop programme management – deliver a large-scale portfolio of IT projects including:
. Applications
. Infrastructure
. New site set up
. Security
. Service Desk
1st/2nd/3rd line support.
Coach, manage, mentor and grow team
Assess all technology and decide if fit for purpose in line with roadmap and growth goals
Improve and implement new systems
Vendor/supplier management
Budget management
Stakeholder management
Act as a champion for IT across the organisation to improve perception and visibility
Expertise in SQL Database applications
Proficient in report writing. With expertise in Crystal Reports software or similar.
Proficient in other software packages such as Sage
Manage and hands on support with Help Desk
Other duties as assigned

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience of Senior IT management roles
Experience of developing and implementing strategy
Proven experience of managing, motivating, developing, coaching, mentoring and growing an IT team
Strong vendor management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage time effectively to determine priorities and deliver on agreed timelines

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Self-motivated person who can act on own initiative with minimal supervision and direction.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate on all levels, both internally and externally
Project management experience
Experience of working in a multi-sited and multi-country Group
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Experience managing and/or directing an IT department
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

QUALIFICATIONS
ITIL/ ITSM (IT Service Management) qualification
Expert in SQL Database applications
